Final Update:
The Black Mountain Fire is 98% contained and will require more work in steep, rugged terrain as critical fire weather is over the fire today. The fire is holding at just under 6,000 acres and interior smoldering and creeping fire behavior is occurring. All roads leading into the fire will require a fire personnel escort to ensure public safety. One fire engine and two handcrews remain onscene. This is the final update unless significant changes occur.
