Location: Crooked Creek Fire is located east of Milburn and North of Fairview

• 2 Hotshot Crew
• 2 Type Two IA
• 2 Helicopter
• Air attack

Cooperators: Utah Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands, US Forest Service

Yesterday: Helicopters arrived and began bucket drops while air tankers applied retardant. The fire started in heavy fuels and steep terrain. The area received some rain but the fire still burned actively.

Today: Fire managers have directed crews to continue a full suppression effort. Handcrews are working the ground and air resources will continue dropping water and retardant on the fire. Objectives are to provide firefighter and public safety, protect private lands and structures, and continue full suppression efforts.

Restrictions: Manti- La Sal National Forest has closure orders in place restricting access off of Skyline Drive to Road 0138.

Smoke will be visible from Milburn, Mt. Pleasant, Fairview, Ephraim and most of Sanpete County.
