South Monroe Prescribed Burn Planned TODAY 11/10/2018

Today, the Fishlake National Forest – Richfield Ranger District plans to begin hand ignitions on the South Monroe Mountain Prescribed Fire Project.  Fire personnel plan to burn approximately 100-200 acres of sage, aspen and some slash filled mixed conifer within the south facing slopes of Manning Creek and Windy Ridge.  Today’s efforts are located approximately 8 miles south of Marysvale, Utah in Piute County.
