Summary: This lightning-caused wildfire started on July 28th at approximately 7 p.m. and is being managed under a full suppression strategy. The fire is burning in heavy mixed conifer and rugged, steep terrain that has limited firefighter access. At this time inaccessible terrain and the lack of firefighting resources is hampering firefighting efforts. Smoke from this fire may be visible from the surrounding areas and the I-15 corridor.
Location: East of Meadow, Utah in the Mine Camp Peak Area of Millard County
